Peach & Blackberry Basil Crisp

Ingredients
- 3 large peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, divided
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 cup chilled unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, toss sliced peaches, blackberries, basil, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Transfer mixture to a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
2. In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, cinnamon (if using), and remaining 1 tablespoon brown sugar. Cut in chilled butter using a pastry cutter or fingers until mixture is crumbly and pea-sized.
