Dried Cherry Simple Syrup

Ingredients:

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup dried cherries

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
2. Add dried cherries and bring to a gentle simmer.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the cherries to soften and infuse their flavor.
4. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain the syrup into a clean jar, discarding the solids.
5. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
