Caring for your Bulk Blooms
Thank you for choosing Rain Shadow Ranch for your bulk floral needs! Each bucket you receive contains 50 to 70 freshly cut stems, carefully conditioned with floral preservatives, kept in fresh water, and cooled at 40°F to ensure optimal bloom integrity.
To help your flowers look their best for weddings, events, or arrangements, please follow these care tips:
Unpack Promptly
Upon delivery or pickup, transport your flowers in a cool environment and remove any plastic or paper sleeves as soon as possible.
Use Clean Containers
Fill vases or buckets with fresh, clean water and add floral preservative, if available.
Avoid Sunlight & Heat
Place flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts, and ripening fruit, which release ethylene gas that can shorten flower life.
Keep Cool
Store flowers at approximately 40°F until ready to use to slow respiration and extend vase life.
Change Water Regularly
Replace water every 2 days and re-cut stems to keep blooms fresh longer.
Handle Gently
Be mindful when handling blooms to avoid bruising or damage.
Trim Stems
Using a clean, sharp knife or shears, trim stems at an angle about 1–2 inches from the bottom before placing in water. This helps the flowers absorb water more efficiently.
Remove Foliage
Leaves below the waterline can cause bacteria buildup; remove any remaining foliage in that area.

Flowers are non-refundable due to their perishable nature.
All stems are delivered long and with leaves stripped. Trimming stems to the desired length is the responsibility of the buyer.
Buyers are responsible for maintaining proper storage conditions, including cooling and hydration, immediately upon pickup or delivery.
